“I stopped. That was my downfall. I stopped weighing myself daily, especially once the scale went over 5#. I stopped being mindful of my food and water intake.”
That’s what one lady wrote when I asked my Rebels to share their biggest mistake in weight loss.
And man is this common one.
So many people have this mindset of, “Oh, this is working, so I can stop doing it!”
But that’s like saying you can stop showering because one shower made you clean.
It’s working BECAUSE you’re doing it!
This mindset can also be a form of escape (sticking your head in the sand).
As in, “Oh, I just know that scale’s going to be up, so I’m not even gonna get on.”
But the scale is your first line of defense.
And when you stop getting on the scale, weight regain is practically inevitable.
It doesn’t HAVE to be.
But that’s the pattern I’ve seen over and over and OVER and over in my 30+ years of doing this.
Coming back after you regain weight is TOUGH.
That’s why I have so much respect for the people who grit their teeth and “step back into the light,” because it feels humiliating at first.
Admitting to yourself that you messed up is hard enough.
Admitting it to other people is 50 times harder.
But on Code Red, we’ve all been there at some point in our weight loss journey.
So there’s no reason to let shame keep you trapped.
Come back and go again.
Step back into the light.
The 10 Pound Takedown is a fantastic way to do that.
(It’s a fantastic way to try Code Red out for the first time, too, because it’s SO simple and doesn’t require shakes, shots, diet pills, diet foods, or exercise!)
Real food, water, sleep, and a few simple rules for 30 days.
Plus, you get a shot at the three grand prizes.
