S.L.H.M. – I went to my favorite consignment shop yesterday because all of my pants are swimming on me. I walked out with a pair of jeans with a size 27 waist. I literally cannot believe it. My body is disappearing! Can’t wait to lose my last 10lbs on this January 10lb Takedown Challenge!
K.L. – I’d like to share an NSV! My husband and I went to a conference last night and for most of today. The people hosting the conference had a pastry table, cookie table, a brownie table, sodas, Pizza for lunch, and bowls of twix & snickers on our table. Everywhere I looked, there was junk food- and for the first time in my life, I wasn’t tempted to eat it. Before CR I would have snacked on that stuff the entire time. I’m really proud of my husband. He’s just recently started Code Red and he didn’t give in to temptation either. Instead of eating the pizza they provided, we ran up to a nearby cafe and ate salads. This was a huuuuge NSV for me!
B.V.H. – I made goal yesterday. What I’ve lost…..108 pounds, many, many inches, self doubt and loathing. What I’ve gained….self respect, satisfaction, higher self esteem, health, and happiness.
L.A.P. – This morning some of the Kodiak, AK rebels were showing some of our new rebels comparison photos. I had not taken photos in a while since I have “only” lost about 35 lbs. and have so much more to lose. I can still wear many of my old clothes and I fight to maintain each pound lost. Then I looked back at my “before” photo and remembered how defeated I felt at the time I took that photo. I might have a long way to go, but I have come a long way with my Code Red lifestyle. Any victory is wonderful, so don’t let your “only” hold you back! I am so much happier and I feel great, so here is a good “faith in the middle photo”!
A.M.I wasn’t going to post today. I didn’t think my clothes were that flattering or showed off my weightloss that well. But really I hit GOAL today and I look so much healthier and happier no matter what clothes I have on. It was my 2nd modified goal. I thought 150 would be it but as I got close I realized I might be able to get to 144 which would be a 100 pound weightloss. Rebel strong!
