
“Come on, why isn’t this working?” I thought for the billionth time.
I’d just tried – yet AGAIN – to remove 20 years’ worth of hard water stains on the glass shower in one of my cabin’s bathrooms.
And once again, it didn’t work.
In case you haven’t heard, I’m trying to sell my cabin at Tamarack Resort.
It’s clean, it’s well maintained, and I remodeled the kitchen.
It’s also got new paint, new carpet, and a new HVAC system.
The bathroom with the glass shower doesn’t have any ACTUAL problems. It’s beautiful and high quality.
But those dang hard water stains make the shower look dirty.
And even though I’ve made three separate, extra trips to my cabin to try and get rid of them, they just will NOT come off.
I’ve tried different solutions, I’ve Googled stuff, I’ve asked Miles to help me…
I even texted a cleaning lady who specializes in move-out cleans for apartments and Airbnbs, because she has experience getting rid of hard water stains.
But she isn’t returning my texts (so far).
Bottom line: I can’t find an expert who can just give me the answer I need to remove long-time hard water stains.
So I just have to keep trying different random things and I hope one of them finally works.
It’s SUPER frustrating to try everything you can find and not get anywhere.
That’s true whether you’re trying to remove 20 years’ worth of hard water stains or trying to figure out why your weight loss is stalled.
Sometimes, a stall is as simple as eating too much.
Other times, it might be that you’ve eaten too little for too long, and your body’s holding onto your stored fat for dear life.
It might be because you’re not getting enough sleep; or the sleep you are getting is not good enough quality.
The “calories in, calories out” brigade will tell you it’s ALL about food volume.
But I’ve been doing this for over 30 years, and I can tell you that a LOT of things can impact how fast your weight drops.
