Her doctor prefers that she DOESN’T use weight loss drugs

“I had a Dr visit Friday to get things in order before leaving to care for parents to address several things. Sleep is a major issue for me and she has ordered a sleep study. YES!!

“My doctor is also happy with my continued weight-loss. She said many people have asked her about appetite suppressants, weight loss drugs etc and those are available if I felt I REALLY needed them. I told her absolutely NOT and she told me she was very glad to hear that because she prefers people try to do things naturally and asked what I am doing.

“I explained to her about Code Red and showed her the food list and rules. She said it’s absolutely perfect and she eats very similar as her lifestyle. She said eating this way, plus good hydration is an excellent way to eat and approves this 100% and wished more people were willing to not seek out the ‘easy ways’ and drugs because it teaches you nothing.

“My BP was perfect and my labs, electrolytes, etc. are spot on. I am so happy about this visit and wanted to share. My healthy eating was discussed but also duly noted in my chart.”

No “you’re too skinny, you don’t need to lose anymore weight” projecting of their own discomfort.

No “come on, it’s a VACATION!” enabling or unintentional sabotage.
