Beware this kind of weight loss method

A Rebel who stepped back from Code Red for awhile, then recently dove in again, said this:

“The thing I love about CodeRed the most is that it is real food that tastes yummy, sleep and water. All of it is not a diet- it’s a lifestyle. I have yet to find anything else that is healthy and basic that you can live it even after the weight is off. In addition, the way the weight comes off, not being deprived or hungry and feeling better (less joint pain, more active) overall makes CodeRed the best option. 😍”

She’s exactly right! Real food, water, and sleep – what humans are designed to thrive on.

There’s some nuance to how you eat real food for consistent weight loss, but it’s real, normal food that you don’t have to special order.

And because Code Red incorporates things we should all be doing anyway, like prioritizing sleep and water, most people see improvements in their wellness (on top of the weight loss).

Now read what a Rebel who’s been in maintenance for years had to say about Code Red:

“What I like about Code Red vs. other programs is that you don’t have to purchase a program and buy their food like Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem which is so expensive. On Code Red, you eat real food!  On those other programs, you still need to buy food and spend all that money on a program as they don’t really ‘teach’ you how to eat like Cristy does.  What is key to me with CR is that you follow 3 simple rules by getting a good night sleep, drinking 128 ounces of water and eat real food.  I also weigh myself every day to stay on track. Why pay extra for a program that doesn’t teach you to eat real food?  I also love that Cristy meets three times a week with the Ringside which helps keep me engaged with Code Red and in maintenance.  Do those other programs offer maintenance and teach you to eat real food – No!”

Exactly!

This Rebel did pay money to Code Red to learn how to eat and live in a way that leads to weight loss, which is a smart investment.

But she’s done programs that didn’t teach her anything – just kept her dependent on their processed diet foods in order to see results. (And she had to buy food on top of buying their processed diet foods.)

For a lot of people, knowing what to do to lose the weight and keep it off isn’t enough. They need community and support to offset their old ways and help them learn new ways.

But that’s a separate issue from  not knowing what to do.

If a weight loss program / gimmick you’re thinking of doing doesn’t educate you on the why and how to lose the weight and keep it off, you’re gonna be screwed when the time comes to keep off what you’ve lost.

You may think the weight will just magically stay off once you lost it, but that’s not how it works, and here’s why.

Most people go back to their old ways once they lose the weight.

In other words, they go back to what they were doing when they were fat and sick.

To keep a new result, you need a new way forward.

That doesn’t mean it can’t have anything in common with your old ways.

But there do need to be some differences if you want to get and keep different results.

If you do something like a GLP-1, for example, then when you stop taking it, you’re gonna need a plan, because GLPs may suppress your appetite but they don’t sew your mouth shut, just like weight loss surgery doesn’t sew your mouth shut.

Keep all that in mind as you figure out which weight loss method you’re gonna try, okay?

If you want this time to be different…if you want the weight to stay gone this time…then make sure you choose something that shows you how to handle life AFTER you lose all the weight you wanna lose.
