
One of my Code Red Mentors at the time of this post, Trista, shared this about how Code Red has helped her in ways that go WAY beyond weight loss. Read what she says in her own words.

Since losing and maintaining my weight loss for just shy of one year, the confidence and skills I’ve learned through Code Red have helped me succeed and become a better Speech Pathologist.
I now have the confidence to approach executives of the company and advocate for programs in our facility that not only allow me to grow as a clinician, but further improve patient quality of life. I have the energy and clear thinking from eating foods that nourish and fuel my body and brain, along with proper sleep, to make a plan and execute it.
When faced with push back or a road block, I’ve leaned into the tools I’ve learned through Code Red. I focus on nailing the basics, taking it one step at a time, and doing the next right thing. I pivot and act with brevity and intention.
Weight loss isn’t just about losing the weight off of my body and joints, but empowering me to be a better person for my friends and family, as well as the lives I’m fortunate enough to touch as a clinician.

Trista’s faced self-sabotage, just like most of us have.
