40 pounds down in a month and a half

“I hit a huge milestone today, I’m officially 40lbs down in a month and a week,” shared a Rebel in the July of 2025 10 Pound Takedown.

Here’s what else she said:

“This lifestyle works when you put the work in. I woke up feeling refreshed this morning. I shared my story yesterday with a good friend of mine. She said ‘I’m on a diet’ to which I replied diets dont work but lifestyle changes like this one do. I shared what I eat and drink on a daily basis and she was shocked that I told her I was down almost 40lbs**. I love being able to share the CodeRed lifestyle with my friends and family and show them they’re not missing out.”

(**The conversation with her friend happened earlier in her journey, before she’d quite hit the 40 pounds down.)

The average weight loss on the 10 Pound Takedown is 12.2 pounds, but some people lose WAY more, especially if they start before Day 1.

When you first start living the Code Red Lifestyle™, AND you stick with it and do it correctly, the weight comes off pretty quickly for most people.

If you stop following it and gain a bunch back, on the other hand…

First of all, yes, you can still do it again and get weight back off. (Plenty of people have.)

But it’s gonna feel a lot harder than it did the first time, when you were first motivated and the weight was “falling off.”

And IF you let that regain happen, one question you’ll ask yourself is, “How do I feel as motivated as I did the first time around?”

The short answer is that you can’t go back to exactly how you felt the first time…

Because you’re not that exact version of yourself anymore.

What you CAN do is stop focusing on the past and start moving forward from where you are now.

“Going back” never works. Going forward with what we learned from the past is how we move forward.

Obviously, you will go back to what works in the sense that you’ll follow the program again.

But for mindset reasons, stop thinking of it as “going back” and start thinking of it as “doing what I know works.”

Repeated weight regain is one of THE worst things you can allow to happen to your body.

If you’re not feeling it, it’s better to stay where you are (even if you have more weight to lose) than it is to regain any of that weight again.

That’s true whether you lost weight through diet, through Ozempic, or through surgery.

Keep off the weight you lose (even if you have more you want to lose).
