
A Rebel who joined a recent 10 Pound Takedown said this about why she joined:
“Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself and share a photo I took. My reason for everything, my little 5 year old. I will be 60 when he graduates from high school and I want to be able to be the best mom for him.”
I love this!
This lady decided she didn’t want to be a wreck when her son graduates from high school in thirteen years.
The actions she takes NOW will determine whether she’s wheezing, aching, and uncomfortable, as is stereotypical for the average 60-year-old American woman…
Or whether she’s in better shape than the younger moms as she watches her son accept his diploma.
A different woman wrote this:
“I just wanted to introduce myself here. I was first in a 10 Pound Takedown in January 2019 and got a custom program soon after. I lost close to 50 lbs and felt the best I had in years and got a bit to cocky. I never did get to goal and slowly gained a lot of it back but not all. I’ve had two Major back surgeries in the last 3 1/2 years and just another Sacroiliac Fusion on July 1st which I’m still recovering from. I’m back to take my health back I know losing the excess lbs will help with the inflammation and movement. I want to be a fun and active grandma not one that sits on the side lines.”
A lot has changed for this lady since she first did Code Red in 2019.
She knew Code Red worked, and she still let things slip.
But things changed. She decided she wanted to be the fun, active grandma, not the fat, sick grandma slumped on the sidelines.

And for whatever reason, sometimes we won’t do things differently until the pain of staying the same is WORSE than the pain of changing.
