Where’s the more comprehensive foods list, Cristy?

On every 10 Pound Takedown Challenge, something like this happens:

Challenger: “I can’t find the foods list! Help!”

So my team points them to the foods list, to which they reply:

“Oh, I already have that. I thought there might be a ‘more comprehensive’ foods list I was missing.”

Nope!

The reason for the misunderstanding is that Code Red’s Foods to Eat/Foods to Avoid list is one page. People assume that I have a one-page food list by mistake, so go looking for a “more comprehensive” one that lists every individual food on the planet.

My one-page foods list is not a mistake. I keep it that way on purpose.

“Why on earth would you do that, Cristy? How am I supposed to know what to eat?”

Simple. Where it says “Any meat,” for example, go to the store and look around at the meat section.

Pay attention to the foods experienced Code Red Rebels (especially Coaches and Leaders) use in their meals.

Watch my “What Do I Eat?” videos on this website. There are hundreds of them.

“That sounds like too much work, Cristy! Why can’t you just give me all the foods I can eat?”

I do. They’re just condensed to one page.

As for why I don’t list them out individually, so that you actually have to think, is for this reason:

I’ve been in this industry for over 25 years. I’ve seen what the people who get and keep their weight off do, and the people who give up and gain their weight back do.

People who are committed enough to think critically about the food they eat are the ones who are committed enough to get and keep their weight off.

See, my job isn’t just to help you “lose weight.”

It’s to TAKE YOUR LIFE BACK.

BIG difference. Weight loss is part of what I do, but it’s not even the tip of the iceberg.

Today’s food environment is toxic, both in quality of food, and how most people see food.

And in order to take your life back from all that…in order to finally feel in control of your weight and health, instead of feeling out of control (or like you have no control), you’ve gotta be EMPOWERED, not spoon-fed.

A one-page foods list, whether you see it yet or not, is part of that.

If you insist on someone doing the work for you (not the same thing as getting help and guidance), I can’t help you.

If you’re ready to do your part to take YOUR life back, the big red button below will take you to a place where you can get started.
